Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra Become Newlyweds
On December 1st, Nick Jonas, 26, and Priyanka Chopra, 36, wed in Chopra’s home country of India. After a 4-month engagement, the two celebrities declared their love at the Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur, Rajasthan. The couple announced that it was important for both of their cultures to be represented. A traditional Christian wedding was held on Saturday, and an elegant Hindu wedding was celebrated on Sunday. The magic lasted the entire weekend, even the bride joked, “People will need vacations after this wedding.” Jonas and Chopra were representing Ralph Lauren, who designed not only the married couple, but also the entire wedding party. Friends and family from both parties came together in celebration of two people who couldn’t be more perfect for each other. Let us all wish them luck on their newlywed journey and let us celebrate how truly beautiful their wedding ceremonies were.
Golden Globe Nominations are Revealed
On December 6th, the 76thannual Golden Globe nominations were announced. While the Golden Globes aren’t going to be held until January 6thof 2019, there have already been some frontrunners. Vice received 6 nominations, which is the most nominations of all motion pictures. The popular remake, A Star Is Born received 5 nominations, including best motion picture-drama. In the television category, The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story received the most nominations, with Sharp Objects and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel also in the race. The hosts of the show will be Sandra Oh, known for her role as Cristina Yang on Grey’s Anatomy, and Andy Samberg, who is a member or the comedy music group, The Lonely Island. Mark your calendars and head to the theatre to get a glimpse of what films will be a part of the 2019 Golden Globes.
JUSTIN AND HAILEY BIEBER SHOOT VOGUE COVER
On December 6th, popstar, Justin Bieber and model, Hailey Bieber shot their first photoshoot as a married couple. “They wanted to do the cover as a celebration of their love,” a source said. The source also revealed that the couple will do an interview to tell their story on how happy they are, and how they make their marriage work. The Vogue photographer told people that the shoot was very playful, and the couple really got into it. They did multiple outfit changes throughout the day, including a look which had wedding vibes, a matching polka dot outfit, and a casual dress, where Justin is seen galloping through the park with Hailey on his back. The couple has been pretty private about their relationship in the past, but one source revealed that Hailey is scaling back on her modeling jobs, and Justin has been taking a break from his work commitments. The pair have been seen together dancing outside of hotels, cuddling up together in clubs, and laughing through the streets of Los Angeles. The Vogue Cover shoot will show the world how happy the newlyweds are and people are itching to hear about what the future holds for the Biebers.
